6-week sessions, sliding scale $150-240 (cash, check, or Venmo @Suzuki-Cady).

Announcing a new Irish Tune Class, 6-week session: Mondays, September 21-October 26, 5:00-6:15pm in Sebastopol (address upon sign-up). Taught by local fiddler Suzuki Cady of the band Hardly Strictly Irish. This is a multi-level, welcoming class.

Class Format: We drink herbal tea, work on the “tune of the week” by ear (introduced the week prior, with recording link supplied) along with some technique coaching (as desired). The following week’s tune is briefly introduced, then we review earlier tunes, by request.

You'll have access to an online Class Tune Library (Google sheet) with all the tunes we have been or will be working on, with links to Suzuki playing each in various tempos. This is a great resource for individual practice, and for choosing what to review each week!

If you have to miss a class, you will still have access to a recording of the new tune to work on at home.
